The Forgotten Feast present
A tremendous banquet of Moorish fare, to be enjoyed at The Russet. The Russet is run by our friend and food waste hero Steve Wilson of the People’s Kitchen. Everyone will sit together for the feast, so come alone, with friends or with your loved one and sit with other diners to celebrate.

Forgotten Feast will transform surplus food into a bountiful seasonal banquet. Surplus food is delicious, healthy produce that hasn’t made it into the shops because too much was ordered, it’s in the wrong packaging or it’s just a bit wonky. Be prepared for a culinary exploration, we will cater for vegetarians and red-blooded carnivores alike.
By coming to this dinner you actually reduce your carbon footprint by saving the food which you eat from the bin and through the profits from the event being used to help create awareness around unnecessary food waste. £1 from each meal will go directly to FareShare, which will in turn help feed 4 hungry people.
For £25 you can expect a delicious feast (see the menu below). All dishes will be served in plenty and to share.
Tickets are available for dinner on Friday 9th March, and include 3 courses, and canapés.
The venue will be open from 7pm, service will commence promptly at 7.30 pm, so please dont be late.
